How long does ceramic coating last?

A professionally applied ceramic coating from JETWASH lasts between 2 and 7 years depending on the package selected, the condition of the paint, and how the vehicle is maintained. We use professional-grade Gtechniq coatings and provide aftercare guidance to maximise longevity.

What's the difference between a Mini Detail and a Full Detail?

A Mini Detail is a thorough interior and exterior clean focused on restoring a fresh, well-maintained look — ideal for regular upkeep. A Full Detail goes deeper: machine polish, decontamination, deep interior extraction, and finishing protection. Full Details are recommended every 6–12 months or before applying ceramic coating.

Do you offer a courtesy car?

Yes — JETWASH provides a free courtesy car for customers booked in for full details, ceramic coating, and paint correction services so you don't lose a day off the road.

Where is JETWASH located and what areas do you service?

JETWASH is located at 1/46 Lysaght St, Coolum Beach QLD 4573, on the Sunshine Coast. We service customers from across the region including Noosa, Peregian, Marcoola, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Buderim and Caloundra.

How long does a full detail take?

A Full Detail typically takes a full working day (6–8 hours). Ceramic coating bookings usually require 1–3 days depending on the package, paint correction required, and curing time. We'll give you a precise time estimate when you book.

Do you do paint correction on swirl marks and scratches?

Yes. Paint correction is one of our specialties. We use machine polishing and refined compounds to remove swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation, restoring depth and gloss to the paint. Severe scratches that have penetrated the clearcoat may require touch-up paint, which we'll assess before quoting.

How long does a detail take?

A Mini Detail is around 3–5 hours depending on the car's condition. A Full Detail is 5–7 hours. Ceramic coatings are typically a 1–2 day job because of the prep work and curing time.

Do I need to drop my car off?

Yes. All detailing is done at our Coolum Beach studio. We have a free courtesy car so you can carry on with your day while we work on yours.

How often should I get my car detailed?

It depends on use, but most regulars come in for a Full Detail every 6 months and an Xpress In & Out in between. Ceramic coated cars need much less, usually one maintenance wash every month or so.

What's the difference between a polish and ceramic coating?

Polishing removes swirls and minor scratches from the paint itself. Ceramic coating is a sacrificial protective layer applied over the paint to keep it looking that way for years. Most ceramic jobs include polishing first, because the coating locks in whatever's underneath.

Do you offer mobile detailing?

We're primarily studio based in Coolum Beach, that's where we can deliver the most consistent, controlled finish (right lighting, water, power, covered space). Can you remove pet hair, vomit, or strong smells?

Yes. Heavy interior work like deep stain removal, pet hair extraction, and odour treatment is something we handle regularly. Send us a photo and we'll quote it.
